The Google Photos app recently released an update, to version 2.8, and the biggest change is in the albums view where one can now preview more pictures. The albums tab is now has three sections: exploration, photos on device and user-created albums and this is a bit similar to the three tabbed view of Instagram.
Sometime in February 2016, Microsoft bought Sunrise Calendar and promised to move its features to Outlook on both Android and iOs. The deal was rumoured to be at around $100 million.
