Hello friends, I have decided that I will today write for you a review of the Xiaomi Redmi 2. Xiaomi is a Smartphone company from China that makes budget smartphones. So, if you are looking not to scratch the pocket and still get a great device, maybe the Xiaomi Redmi 2 is for you.
Now, let’s see if the Xiaomi Redmi 2 is for you. To start with, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4 and there’s a way to upgrade it to 5.0 which I will be covering in a later post. What I find rather amazing about this device is the fact that it allows dual sim on 4G! Oh, you are already getting excited right?
However, if you are like me, you would still want to learn some more about this device, well let’s dive in.
At 4.7-inch, having 1,280×720-pixel IPS display and 312 ppi. The clarity of the phone is really good for a phone that costs just $129.99 on gear best. It is also pretty light at 133 grams.
I’ve always seen dual sim phones with a sim on 3G and the other on 4G but a phone with dual 4G is amazing as far as I am concerned and for $130, you should either buy it for yourself or as a gift to a friend.
With a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410, 8GB of internal storage (with micro sd space), 2200mAh of battery juice and 2GB of RAM you would easily notice that it is a great deal for $130 and as I said earlier.
The MIUI 6 which is it’s own UI is a very favoured UI as a lot of android fans will at least be familiar with the MIUI Icon set in play store. In my own opinion, the MIUI is far better than Samsung’s TouchWiz or HTC’s Sense UI.
On the camera, you get a 8.0MP back camera and a 2.0 front camera and there’s also an HDR mode that is pretty impressive as well as panorama mode. You can take full HD videos with the camera and to just clarify this, the HDR mode really takes a more detailed photo than the normal mode.
